gradient nails

currently i am in love with gradient nails, which are super easy and fun to do.
all you need is at least a couple of nail polishes, base coat and top coat. also you need any spongy thingy you have. it may be makeup sponge, washing up sponge (obviously a new one, and you should use the softer side), i used a piece of cheap spongy wisp.
just apply your base coat and 'background colour', drop some nail polish on paper (or any smooth surface), deep the sponge into it and start slightly pressing it onto your nails anyhow you want them to look.

there are 2 looks i made which i'd like to show you

and don't ever forget to finish off with top coat!
so don't afraid to experiment with different colours and have fun :)

Artdeco Eyeshadow Base

i just must say something about this product. eyeshadow base, eyeshadow primer or whatever you wanna call  is absolutely must have in your make up collection. whatever you do you need a good quality base to start off. when you wanna do a neat and professional looking make up you need a good primer especially eyeshadow primer, cuz you don't want your eye makeup to smugde, fade away and crease.
a couple of weeks ago i purchased this Artdeco Eyeshadow Base.

my country is so small so sometimes there are problems with some products in there, so when i saw this babe at the counter i went crazy and i bought is without any hesitating. it costed me about $10. so what i can say about it:
  • the consistancy is perfect. light creamy product glides easily on the eyelids
  • it has nice smell, but some people might not like it
  • it has some shimmer to it, but if you apply matte eyeshadow it isn't show up
  • eyeshadow stays all day long (i have hooded eyes so it creases just a little bit, but i'm okay with this)
  • i found out that if you apply concealer on top of the base it stays so much better
  • it really works!
so as you can tell i am really amused with this product and i highly reccomend it to everyone. one pot will last you about a year and even more.
